Barrel length 184 mm, civilian version of the 11 mm army revolver M.70/74, typical apple mark as well as inscription „L. Gasser Patent Ottakring“.
Year of manufacture around 1880, matching numbers, well preserved, only slightly spotted original finish with remnants of the blue tarnish on the lock parts. The army revolver M.1870 was the most advanced revolver in the world at its time. Double Action and set up for centerfire cartridges, while in the USA the Colt Single Action Army was introduced in 1873 and in Germany the 1878 Reichsrevolver (also Singe Action only).
