Rare, archaic german claw mounti-auto pistol with long barrel recoil and locked breech despite the weak cartridge. Licensed production by Sauer & Sohn in Suhl according to a patent of the Viennese company G. Roth AG. Our specimen has a strongly brought original finish and dents on the left and right side of the front case. Inscription on top „J.P.Sauer & Sohn, Suhl“ as well as „PATENT ROTH“, the Sauer logo on top backwards on the case and on both hard rubber grip panels. Small cracks on left and broken corner on right grip plate. No valid proof - rare collector‘s item. Only about 3,000 were made around 1905.
