Heavy rifled octagonal Damascus barrel with adjustable rear sight and front sight, producer engraved on top, likewise on the lockplate, this and the hammer with light arabesque engraving, German engraver, walnut full stock with trigger guard and wooden hand rest, steel cap, right-hand pavement loading, ramrod not original. Father and son Johann Rieger are documented in Munich from 1785 to 1855.
