Barrel length 80 cm (31,5"), stock length 33 cm (13"), overall length 128 cm (50,4"), weight 3,95 kg, no proof, condition 2
Good original finish, barrel a bit dull in the rifling, with original sling (this one damaged in front) and bayonet including scabbard and coupler shoe. The Arisaka rifle system was fundamentally designed and continuously improved by the Japanese colonel of the same name in 1894. The model designation refers to the year of introduction 1905, the 38th year on the throne of the then reigning Japanese Emperor of the Meiji Dynasty. It was the standard infantry rifle of the Imperial Japanese Army until 1940 and was produced in the edition of about 3 million copies in various arsenals.
