The famous German manufacture Krieghoff dates back to 1886 and was located in Suhl (Thuringia), one of the most famous German cities for gun manufacturing. Over the decades, they produced both hunting and military weapons. In 1947, under Russian occupation, the Suhl plant was destroyed. For Krieghoff, a new beginning then began in Ulm (Baden-Würtenberg) in the 1950s. Krieghoff holds a number of patents. In addition to the popular hunting rifles (especially triplets), the company also successfully produced sporting rifles. To this day, the company is run by descendants from the family. The focus is on combining the best achievements of gunsmiths and stock makers as well as refinement through high-quality engravings. The K80 shotgun has been successfully represented in almost every sporting competition for many years!
