Barrel length 19 cm (7.5"), weight 0.9 kg, no proof, condition 1 barrel and frame nickel-plated, grip panels made of imitation mother-of-pearl, in the original, lockable wooden case lined with wine-red velvet with a key. Wooden plaque, to the 2nd Amendment of the Reminiscent of the US Constitution, which enshrines all American citizens the right to own and bear arms. The cassette is slightly chipped on the outside. In 1846/47, Samuel Colt designed his first series-ready revolvers, still with percussion ignition. The first factory was built in 1848 and Colt has been one ever since of the most important manufacturers of revolvers. But it was only through the designs of JM Browning (mod. 1895 and M1911) and Eugene Stoner (M16) that Colt celebrated its greatest commercial successes and thus became one of the standard suppliers of the US armed forces. Colt is now part of the company of the CZ Group.
